Concept and Architecture
The project includes both the architectural transformation and extension of the rooftop space, as well as the interior design of the bar. The core concept revolves around opening the space to the sky, providing breathtaking views while integrating nature as a key visual element. The architecture and functional layout clearly follow this idea, creating a sense of openness and connection with the surrounding environment.
Design Solutions
The symmetrical organization of the venue brings balance and order, while the long façades feature full-height sliding glass panels, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor spaces. Skylights run along both sides of the space, opening the venue not only outward but also upward toward the infinite sky. The central indoor garden, dominated by an impressive bonsai tree, acts as the main visual highlight, symbolizing tranquility and harmony. This garden is framed by four circular columns clad in natural veneer and brass sheeting. The striking geometry is further emphasized by integrated LED lighting, reflecting the studio's signature parametric design. Acoustic panels and ceilings feature sound-absorbing materials, ensuring excellent acoustics despite the extensive glazing.
Lighting in the Bar
The lighting design is both unique and innovative, featuring gradient RGB diffuse lighting hidden behind striking circular lamps with mirrored surfaces. The space is organized to create a smooth visual flow between different areas, including the central garden and the bar, while maintaining a sense of openness and continuity. Mirrors placed at the four corners of the relaxation zones enhance the illusion of infinite space. This effect is further amplified by mirrored surfaces surrounding the multimedia screen, transforming it into an endless artistic element.
Restrooms
The restroom design embraces bold contrasts and transformative experiences. A dark, dramatic hallway leads guests to vibrant, expressive interiors. Accent mirrors on the walls and ceiling enhance the color scheme, while the restroom doors feature an impressive built-in infinity effect, adding to the uniqueness of the space.
